My Bio

October 2002: When Niki was DX I felt so helpless, I did not find this board until July 2003 months after diagnosis. Niki will be 12 this year and has had diabetes for over 6 yrs now. Niki was very hard to regulate but in time I found help here, without this board Niki may not with me today.

Some of those who helped me with Niki are not on this board anymore, so I created this space just to thank them, for helping me, for teaching me and just being there.

Here's to you, Natalie, Peg, Rhonda, Denise, Kathy you were all here back then and I am forever grateful. I'm sure I am forgeting someone, but I will try to remember and add their name.
